Live Webinar March 19, 2020 2pm EDT

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Notice

The Compliance Team, Inc. continues to monitor Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).  On Wednesday, March 4th, 2020, CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) issued a memorandum to State Survey Agencies and Accreditation Organizations regarding important guidelines around the CMS survey process (see link below).

In light of this, the first thing you should do is review your Infection Control and Emergency Preparedness policies, to see if revisions or additions are necessary. Please use this time to review and enhance compliance with your policies to protect yourselves, staff, and patients.

You must report if one or more of your patients have tested positive for Covid-19 to The Compliance Team. Please send to notifications@thecomplianceteam.org and include the following information:

1. # of patients serviced that tested positive for COVID-19

2. Your company name, city and state

Currently, The Compliance Team is prioritizing ALL surveys (DMEPOS, Pharmacies, Rural Health Clinic, Patient-Centered Medical Home, etc.) to assure you have the ability to provide continuity of care within your communities. We are holding a webinar Covid-19 update, on March 19th at 2 PM Eastern for all providers to attend.
