Azzur Labs, LLC took home fourth place for the Pennsylvania “Best Places to Work” 2017 list in the small/medium business category (15-99 employees).The award was presented through a partnership with Team Pennsylvania Foundation and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Central Penn Business Journal.
According to the Team Pennsylvania Foundation website, the list of businesses was comprised of 23,000 employees representing 44 small, 27 medium, and 29 large sized companies.
The qualifications for this award included companies located in Pennsylvania that were for or non-profit, publicly or privately held, had a team of minimally 15 employees, and has existed as a business for at least one year. Winners were chosen by a twofold process including company workforce policy evaluation and employee satisfaction, which was surveyed and scored using a formula set by Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work for in America.
Azzur Labs is excited to the fourth best place to work in Pennsylvania, stating that this honor will increase their visibility within the region and further their goal of growth as a company. The survey and awards program named the businesses who are benefiting the state’s economy and its workforce. The list of top businesses and their rank were presented after the awards ceremony at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, PA on November 30th.
