Through the partnership, both companies will leverage their respective technologies to create a seamless approach for care coordination, identify interventions that improve patient outcomes, and bring new payment models through payer relationships. Pharmacies utilizing both services will also realize savings through the partnership.

Along with iMedicare, STRAND offers single sign-on integration with a majority of pharmacy management systems, allowing pharmacists to engage patients within their workflow. This allows pharmacists to identify potential opportunities –including HEDIS measure and Star Ratings measures– and bill payers for completed encounters. Pharmacists utilizing both services will receive the new integration at no cost to current members.
