QS/1 has released QS/1 DeliveryRx™, an iPad® application for prescription delivery that does not require an internet connection or cellular signal. QS/1 DeliveryRx is an Apple-approved app that downloads transactions, captures signatures, accepts payments and allows deliveries for multiple stores.
“Customer service is the backbone of independent pharmacies,” said Justin Buckland, QS/1 Market Analyst. “This new app allows pharmacies to show their commitment to top-notch customer service and place themselves ahead of the competition.”
Pharmacies using the NRx® Pharmacy Management System, and QS/1’s Point-of-Sale software, can download the QS/1 DeliveryRx app and take advantage of the ease-of-use and portability of the iPad to provide delivery service for patients.
“QS/1 DeliveryRx features include the ability to download transactions directly to the device,” Buckland added. “You can also capture signatures for controlled substances and accept cash and check payments at the point-of-delivery. It can greatly improve the efficiency of prescription delivery services offered by an independent pharmacy.”
For pharmacies that have considered offering a delivery service, QS/1 DeliveryRx is a great tool to start the process and do it right.
QS/1 DeliveryRx is available for download now in the Apple Store.
