Tampa, Florida - Tutela welcomes White County Medical Center (WCMC) located in Searcy, Arkansas to its growing list of customers. WCMC uses the Tutela Genesis system to monitor oncology drugs in their cancer center. The WCMC Cancer Center gives patients a central location to be diagnosed and treated with access to state-of-the art oncology equipment.
Previously, WCMC monitored the temperature of their oncology drugs manually. This proved to be a costly and potentially dangerous situation. Hazardous weather at times made it difficult to monitor temperatures manually 24 hours a day seven days a week. As a result there were times that expensive and critical therapeutic cancer medications had to be destroyed due to temperature excursions from faulty refrigerator or freezer storage. WCMC also needed to meet compliance regulations that required them to provide documented temperature readings.
Tutela was the right solution for WCMC. The Tutela system provides continuous temperature monitoring and notifies staff immediately if there is any deviation in temperature. It also gives them the flexibility to print and send temperature reports simply from the customized dashboard. The system was installed easily with little staff involvement and they now have peace of mind knowing their inventory is safe and compliant.
Welcome, White County Medical Center!
Tutela Systems is a division of ‘Next Controls Systems’ providing temperature monitoring solutions in Europe and North America.
