Value Care Pharmacy (Tustin, CA) Installs Pearson Medical Technologies IP128APS®

Pearson Medical Technologies, a leader in safe and efficient pharmacy automation, is pleased to announce the installation of the new IP128APS® Automated Pharmacy Packaging System, an affordable unit dose or multi dose packaging system, at Value Care Pharmacy in Tustin, California.

The IP128APS® is a fully automated high speed unit dose and multi dose packaging system with the smallest footprint available today. The IP128APS® increases pharmacy productivity and efficiency by automating multi-dose prescription and filling and packaging with an accuracy rate over 99.9%. The IP128APS® increases patient safety by reducing medication and administration errors while improving pharmacy efficiency.

"We are very excited to introduce this proven technology to the US market. At 1/4th the footprint and 1/2 the cost of similar systems, we think the IP128APS® is the best solution available today for automated medication fulfillment for long term care and hospital pharmacies. The team at Value Care immediately recognized the advantages of this system and we are quite pleased to be working with them," stated Brent Pearson, CEO of Pearson Medical Technologies.

"The IP128APS® is a welcomed addition to Value Care Pharmacy. This system will help Value Care Pharmacy provide 10-day medication cycle fulfillment to our long term care patients with greater accuracy and less tech man hours," said Director of Value Care Pharmacy Daniel Rojos. "We are particularly pleased with the seamless interface between the IP128APS and our Digital Rx Pharmacy Information System."
