TARGET AUDIENCE
This accredited activity has been designed for pharmacists.
GOAL
The goal of this continuing education activity is to educate pharmacists on a variety of pain management and opioid analgesic topics in a practical, relatable way that is aligned with the Opioid Analgesic REMS educational goals.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this program, participants should be better able to:
• Describe the impact of pain and its treatment on quality of life, daily activities, and patient mental health
• Discuss the Opioid REMS program and interventions strategies
• Identify approaches appropriate for people from unique special populations
