New Faculty - Jefferson College of Pharmacy, Population Health Pharmacy Program


Meet Ruth! Ruth is a pharmacist with experience in Community Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, and Industry – she served at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Pharmaceuticals for nearly three years. She created access for several GSK brands, managing Asthma, Urology, and Neurology portfolios before enrolling in graduate school in a bid to impact patient's life through research. She received her doctoral training in Pharmaceutical Sciences- Health Outcomes Research and Policy Option from Auburn University, Alabama. Ruth is interested in supporting the medication use of individuals with chronic conditions using digital tools. She is interested in designing, implementing, and evaluating digital health programs. Ruth has published several peer-reviewed publications and has experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, systematic reviews, and meta-analysis. Ruth teaches Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes course to third-year pharmacy students and Healthcare Delivery Systems to first-year pharmacy students at Jefferson College of Pharmacy.
