Home Infusion Therapy Accreditation. Simplified. The Compliance Team

The Compliance Team is CMS approved to accredit providers for home infusion therapy.

Company Background & History

• Delivering Exemplary Provider® Recognition for Over 25 Years. The Compliance Team, Inc. (TCT) was founded in 1994 with the fundamental philosophy that accreditation should not be difficult or costly to achieve. It is a philosophy that providers immediately embrace when they start working with TCT and see how we eliminate the “minutiae.” Instead of a “one-size-fits-all” approach to standards, we have comprehensively streamlined them to deliver a far more simplified approach — with a lot less paperwork. At TCT, it is all about your time and elevating patient care.

Simplification does not mean compromising quality. The fact is our patient-centric standards are what set us apart and deliver on our promise to every pharmacy and DMEPOS provider — Accreditation. Simplified. While others will claim to be the “gold standard,” the Exemplary Provider Accreditation from TCT is a true designation that your facility delivers the very best in care to your patients. Our providers choose to be exemplary.

Service Overview

• The Compliance Team is CMS Approved to Provide Home Infusion Therapy Accreditation

Effective January 1, 2021 CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) mandated that home infusion therapy (HIT) providers attain accreditation. In 2020, The Compliance Team was approved by CMS to offer accreditation for home infusion therapy providers and is one of only five accreditation organizations with CMS approval.

Home infusion therapy offers both pharmacy and DMEPOS providers a new and profitable way to expand business. Achieving accreditation through TCT validates that you are providing best practice patient care and meeting (exceeding!) the mandated state and federal requirements.

The comprehensive TCT standards for HIT cover every aspect of the management and delivery system for home care. Accreditation improves your contracting authority with payers, resulting in more business for your organization. Whether you offer HIT now or are considering expanding your business –— let’s talk.

• Infusion Suite of Services: Ambulatory and Physician Suite. The Compliance Team also provides accreditation for ambulatory infusion and we recently expanded our programs to include Physician Infusion Suites. As a result of the growing need for specialty medications, that require expert-level administration, ambulatory infusion allows for management of chronic and complex conditions. As an important part of the patient care team, pharmacists are able to support transitional and continual care by providing ambulatory infusion. Accreditation assures patients, referral sources, and payers that your pharmacy has been validated and delivers quality patient care.

As the result of changing payer conditions, TCT expanded infusion services to include Physician Infusion Suite. Site of care accreditation optimizes and documents that your quality has been verified and validated based on comprehensive quality standards from TCT. The accreditation can show a health plan, medical or hospital group, distribution chain, or any other organization requesting accreditation that the infusion arm of your practice is exemplary.
