MINNEAPOLIS – February 7, 2022 – Visante announces that Greg A. Bauer, MS, PharmD, DPLA, ACE, joins Visante as a Senior Consultant. Greg will consult with hospital and health system clients to help elevate pharmacy operations, clinical services and financial performance.
Greg will assist Visante to meet the growing demand for consulting services that help hospitals and health systems to optimize patient care and financial opportunities that exist within pharmacy organizations. His leadership and success in large hospitals and health systems translate to deep expertise that he will bring to Visante clients.
Before joining Visante, Greg was the Associate Vice President, Health System Pharmacy Operations, at Temple University Health System (TUHS) in Philadelphia. At TUHS, he was responsible for standardizing operations across five TUHS hospital campuses and numerous TUHS ambulatory infusion centers. Under his team’s leadership, Temple University Health System Pharmacy experienced significant growth, expanded inpatient and ambulatory clinic pharmacy services, and improved health system operating margins through formulary management, pharmacy clinical interventions and optimization of the 340b program.
Greg’s career has been focused on delivering exceptional patient care across a health system while also delivering excellent financial results. He understands the unique challenges of health system pharmacy, the value of inpatient pharmacy, pharmacy services in ambulatory settings and infusion centers, and specialty pharmacy and 340b optimization. His array of knowledge optimizes operations for patients and providers.

Greg earned his PharmD from the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy and an MS in Health Systems Pharmacy Administration from The Ohio State University. He completed residency training at The Ohio State University Medical Center followed by a fellowship in Clinical Toxicology. He is a diplomat of the ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Academy and a recently credentialed 340B ACE (Apexus Certified Expert).
