My name is Hemant Shah, Founder and CEO of Balto Rx. I am so excited to be sharing my story and vision with you. I was born in India and came to the U.S. seeking better economic opportunities as a young man. I come from a long line of businessmen and have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. I have founded and managed several successful business ventures throughout my career and am now embarking on my latest project, called Balto Rx.
At its core, Balto Rx is a patient-centric home delivery system for medical prescriptions. But I believe it’s so much more than that. We are providing a critical service to many individuals and families who may not have adequate access to transportation, the ability to leave their homes, or even time to run a quick errand due to demanding life schedules.
According to leading health agencies and CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) up to 30% of patients do not have access to their medications. And as someone who has been diagnosed with Diabetes, I understand how crucial medications can be in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, Balto Rx is increasing access to medications by delivering them directly to clients from their local pharmacy within hours. Our innovative, HIPAA-compliant model is revolutionizing the way prescription medications are delivered across the country. With deliveries starting at just $7, Balto Rx is paving the way for new opportunities in healthcare accessibility by creating the most affordable and timely delivery services out there.
In addition to already partnering with over 50+ pharmacies and hospitals, we are excited to announce our newest feature, “Meds on-demand,” which will allow any and all pharmacies, hospitals, and hospice centers to use our app and deliver medications to their patients, without having to sign up as a partner or contractor.
Your contribution will help BaltoRx expand our reach to segments of the population who have lacked quick and easy access to medications.
Our goal is to make medications more accessible for everyone and we hope you’ll join us on our mission to do just that.
