CPS is seeking a Pharmacy leader to direct and over see the pharmacy operations of Marietta Memorial Health System, a not-for-profit integrated health system, accredited by HFAP, that includes a 200-bed acute care hospital, 35 bed critical access hospital, and two outpatient infusion centers. The Health System employs over 2,700 employees, including 325 providers representing 64 clinics and over 40 specialties. Memorial Health System is committed to providing quality, affordable care with an additional focus on medical education and community service. he pharmacy department is open 24 hours a day.  The pharmacy is a has a centralized distribution model and utilizes Pyxis, Meditech and BOLT automation. Clinical programs include AMS, anticoagulation services and pharmacist rounding.


Description:  As a full-time, exempt, CPS® Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee all pharmacy operations of the acute care main campus hospital (Marietta Memorial), and a critical access hospital (Selby Memorial).  Duites including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team.


Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.

About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy department is open 24 hours a day.  The pharmacy is a has a centralized distrubition model and utilizes Pyxis, Meditch and BOLT automation. Clinical programs include AMS, anticoagulation services and pharmacist rounding. 


Required Qualifications:                                                                                                                              ​

- BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy

- Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing

- At least 5 years recent pharmacy management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment.

- Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.

-​ Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.


Hospital Requirements:

- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months

- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity

- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity

- Hepatitis B3 Series or declination

- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
