90% of patients live within five miles of a community pharmacy. It’s all about convenience and accessibility, and in today’s world, pharmacies are working to understand not only what vaccine their community members and patients need but also when and why they need it/them.

In this podcast, Cheri Schmitt, pharmacist and member of Cardinal Health’s Pharmacy of the Future Clinical Team, Tonya Shackelford, pharmacist and senior manager for Cardinal Health’s Clinical Pharmacy Solutions Team and Wimberly Gayle, an independent pharmacist from Louisiana, address the evolution of pharmacies as an emerging healthcare destination by offering even more immunizations — especially for the upcoming fall and winter seasons.

Here, Cheri, Tonya and Wimberly address this ever-pivoting world for independent pharmacies and how they may effectively balance their vaccine inventory and offerings.
