PyroSmart NextGen™ recombinant Cascade Reagent (rCR) eliminates the potential for 1,3-β-D-glucans cross reactivity. This new solution delivers all of the quality and consistency of results you have come to expect from ACC LAL reagents.
There is more to know with this new recombinant reagent. The new LAL reagent is sustainably produced using recombinant technology. The product does not contain any animal content, unlike traditional LAL reagents that are manufactured using the blood harvested from horseshoe crabs.
Laboratory analysts can maintain the same test method, sample preparation, and plate reader instrumentation used for traditional BET tests. There are other recombinant reagents on the market, but ACC’s is the only one that uses the same LAL cascade as traditional LAL reagent.
The team at ACC designed the new methodology to deliver consistent and reliable quantitation in all BET applications requiring LAL reagents such as testing of water, injectable drugs, vaccines, and medical devices.
