Gallipot to become Fagron, global one-stop shop for pharmaceutical compounding products and services
Pharmacists to gain greater access to expertise and supplies from around the world
NASHVILLE, Oct. 5 – Gallipot, the U.S. leader in creating and supplying compounding products and services, is taking the "art of compounding" to a new level in November, when it will change its name to be consistent with its parent company, Fagron. Fagron is the global one-stop shop for products and services for pharmaceutical compounding.
“We’re changing our name, but keeping our brand promise to provide the great service, customer care and innovative, quality compounding products pharmacists have come to rely on from us,” said Gary Schneider, RPh., president, Gallipot. “As Fagron, we will be the leading, resourceful supplier in the United States – even better equipped to help pharmacists meet customer demands and capitalize on new market opportunities. Pharmacists also will gain greater access to more pharmaceutical resources, including expertise and supplies from around the world.”
The company made the announcement in conjunction with its exhibition and participation at the National Community Pharmacists Association’s annual convention. Attendees can learn more about the advantages the parent company offers and receive Fagron-branded giveaways at Booth 518 in the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.
Attendees also can learn about the company’s products and services, including a new capsule system and a new dosing syringe at the Gallipot Booth 518.
Officially, Gallipot will change its name to Fagron in November, along with the launch of its new website, www.fagron.us. The new site will feature the added convenience of online ordering and shopping.
Fagron acquired Gallipot in 2010 to build upon Gallipot’s strong U.S. market presence.
